Spring is finally here! The temperatures are climbing, the crocuses and daffodils are blooming and it's garage sale season! This year I am co-sponsoring the children's band at the Brockton Yard Sale.

You'll find more information below!

Now is also a good time to take care of your house - doing an inspection on things like windows, walls, and your roof could save you in the long run if you nip any issues in the bud! And having your house in tip-top shape means you can enjoy the warmer weather without worries and have time to putter in the garden. You'll find some suggestions for beautiful flowering bushes, below.

Royal LePage is predicting cottage prices will rise this year, so if you love spending time outside the city, now is a good time to start looking. Let me know and I'll be happy to refer you to someone in cottage country or perhaps you'd like to look in the Lake Erie area and I'd be happy to help you!

The spring real estate market hasn't quite sprung. Sales in the GTA last month were down by 4.5% compared to March 2023, in part due to Easter falling in March rather than April. It's interesting to see how a single day, like February 29 or Good Friday can impact the numbers. Despite increased listings, there was enough competition amongst buyers that prices edged up a little. We'll see what happens this month and in May, traditionally the busiest months of the year!

I have two current listings. One is a wonderful two bedroom split plan on Wynford available for lease, the other a beautiful traditional 3-storey Victorian home in the coveted family-friendly neighbourhood of Roncesvalles Village. Coming soon is a a big three storey home in Beaconfield Village. Stay tuned for all the wonderful details.

As always, any referrals you may have are greatly appreciated. Please forward this to any friends or family who may be considering buying or selling in the coming months!

Take good care, hope to see you soon, and toodle loo for now.

A belated Happy New Year! I have finally come out of that holiday season slumber when you don't know what day it is!

I started off this new and wonderful year in a bright new way - snowshoeing at the Cranberry Trail in Muskoka. Just because there isn’t any snow in Toronto doesn't mean there isn't any snow up north! There are plenty of options in the province for snowshoeing!

Have you given any thought to taking up a new hobby or learning a new language this year? What are your plans and goals? I'm continuing with my decade long passion for dance. It’s taken me all over the world, and I’ve forged wonderful new friendships and furthered existing friendships. I've been considering enrolling in French language courses with Alliance Francais. Mais oui!

And of course, Valentine’s Day isn’t too far away. You know my favourite spot for chocolate is Soma, but there are so many fantastic places in the city to indulge, whether you’re looking for cookies, cakes, or even bombolini!

There’s been a lot of movement in the real estate market as of late. The Bank of Canada made it’s first rate announcement, holding the key interest rate steady. We're hoping for a rate cut later this year, but as you'll see from the news below, the market is already getting busier!

And if you are a homeowner, don’t forget about the Vacant Home Tax. Click here for the city’s website – it’ll only take you a minute!

Thanks to dear friends and clients I was blessed to work with I received the President's Gold award in 2023 and I am happily working on 2024 to make it just as wonderful.

Take good care, hope to see you soon, and toodle loo for now.

Autumn is my favourite time of year. I love the change of seasons with the crispness in the air and the glorious colours of the leaves. (It also happens to be my birthday month!)

As part of my birthday celebrations this year I’m traveling to Portugal to explore the Azores, go back to my favourite stomping grounds in Lisbon and Porto, including the Gin Lovers Bar and Skinlife perfumery. After that I’m off to Angola for a little dancing and culture! Are you going anywhere this fall?

You don’t have to cross an ocean to see some sights. October is also a great time for a road trip to see the gorgeous foliage. Scroll down for more details!

This weekend is Thanksgiving and we all have so much to be grateful for. One of the blessings that I count is my business. So many of my clients have become friends and I have friends who have become clients! I thank you for your trust and confidence in me to guide you along your path.

If you’re looking for some cooking inspiration this Thanksgiving, you’ll find a recipe below for scalloped potatoes (my secret ingredient is a little nutmeg!) and some ideas for table settings and décor.

And now, onto the market. Though the market in general has slowed down, I’m very grateful to be busy! I recently sold two homes andI currently have a beautifully restored Victorian home available as well as some apartments I’m leasing out. I’m currently working on renovating the units and there will be more photos coming soon!

As always, any referrals you may have are greatly appreciated. Please forward this to any friends or family who may be considering buying or selling in the coming months!

Take good care, hope to see you soon, and toodle loo for now.

Wishing you and your family a Wonderful and Blessed Happy Thanksgiving!

A very belated Happy Father's Day - it was a hectic weekend, what with Taste of Little Italy and I had two open houses.

Summer is officially here, which means it's ice cream season, and my local favourite, Death in Venice, is my go-to for unusual flavours, but there's no shortage of terrific treats in the city. My favourite flavour is Tiger Tail, which we always enjoy at the cottage, but you should be able to find it in the city now.

You'll find a list of the city's best ice cream parlours below, along with a wonderful feature on the St. Lawrence Hall Ballroom, one of the city's hidden treasures. This would make a great venue for a wedding or another occasion - it would be perfect for a special dance, which is something you know I love to do.

Now is also a perfect time for a road trip, whether you're checking out local markets, small towns or just need a short getaway. My favourites in the past have included Tobermory and the 1000 Islands. What are your favourite road trips?

You know I’m always happy to speak about the market, and what’s happening now is that we're seeing sales go up, but not the number of listings, which has resulted in prices increasing over the past few months, despite higher interest rates. If you're considering making a move, please get in touch. I think it will be a busy summer market, and I have three listings to share!

This weekend I am holding open houses at two of my listings, check them out below!

One open house will be at a beautiful traditional 3-storey Victorian home in the coveted family-friendly neighbourhood of Roncesvalles Village, where we'd be neighbours! The other open house is at a wonderful one bedroom plus den condo in the Arch Lofts Church conversion in the heart of the Junction.

As always, any referrals you may have are greatly appreciated. Please forward this to any friends or family who may be considering buying or selling in the coming months!

Take good care, hope to see you soon, and toodle loo for now.
